The Desert Eagle is a large-bore gas-operated semi-automatic pistol designed by Magnum Research in the U.S., and manufactured primarily in Israel by IMI (Israel Military Industries). The most recent model is available in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, and .50 Action Express. Shown in many video games and action films as the weapon of choice for some members of elite military and law enforcement units. In most cases, they are primarly adapted for emergency defense against the attack of large predators like Bears & Wild Boars!
